I swear to God that some people there are making up different tags for dark skin just to mess with people who don’t want to see it. Why exactly this particular image had “dark_penis” instead of just “dark-skinned_male” is beyond me.
honestly on a personal level this really doesn't matter to me. i'm already used to putting -ai_generated in my queries. and i mainly use rule34 to find new artists, so outside of a few who have their works used in AI constantly it's not really a problem.
but for the site, it's definitely a step in the right direction. now they gotta deal with the *real* problem (annoying ass ERPers in the comments).

You can just make an account to blacklist all the terms instead of having use so many removal tags everytime search for something. I can kind of see the AI filter being redudant for this reason but I'm still glad to have it, the ability to just flick a switch and have things be like R34 pre AI take-over ( around 2022 or 23 if I'm not mistaken? ) - some stuff does get through the filter but it's usually only 1-2 images.
That being said this does massively solve the problem of my eyeballs being subject to a bunch of "BBC" bullshit becuase 90% of it is AI generated , these losers can spam as much of it out as they want now and I'll never see it. I just wish they were quicker on the draw when it came to third party edits.
