Post 'disapproved (poor quality)'

Posted under General

I uploaded an image a few days ago. It's still in pending status with an event of Disapproved for poor quality by a hidden user.
Sure I might be biased as I made it but I disagree on it being poor quality.
I'd like a bit of clarification on why it got disapproved and what would need fixing.

The post in question.

I uploaded a few OC videos of a fun modded porn game with practically the same quality as the first few that are accepted (and still up) and the knew ones kept getting denied, so I just decided clearly someone doesn’t want this on their site and left it at that.

Instead of signaling how virtously submissive you are, you never bothered checking the quality of the new mods?

The image i originally posted did get approved eventually.
My issue is that there is a mod hiding their identity and disapproving what seems to be a large amount of posts that are otherwise fine.
Disapproving because of 'disinterest' is bullshit enough but disapproving a post for poor quality with no comment on what is poor quality whilst hiding who disapproved is just not on.
It really does make it hard to want to post here. When you have a seemingly unaccountable mod on a power trip.
Like i said originally in this thread I might be biased but i think my image is pretty high quality actually.
Feel free to disagree on that but if that is getting disapproved then what's the point of posting anything.

She has multiple accounts now. Diverts attention that way, unless you go through each post inidividually and see that these mods never have any dissenting opinions.
If you read the posts of her i linked you get the exact personality type of the pettiest powertripping tyrant

Also you post was approved by da comrade, which is a pretty chill mod. If he hadnt been active during the approval duration you would have been at the mercy of the bat shit ones

OK, i was defending the mods before but if this is true and they really did get the bright idea to make a woman a mod, specifically on a porn site, that is just asking for trouble. This is the equivalent of someone bringing a girl into the previous all male gaming group or whatever, but actually worse. Yes i know Hana exists, but she is an admin and from what i know she just does technecal stuff, so that is different.

I went to go check the post you mentioned and then the moderation log in order to see the chain of events on our end. By default the site hides the actions a mod takes, unless they add in a note like LC21: Poor Quality [Reason]. That's the way the site is built it you disagree with it go message one of the Admins & make your case to them.

As for the initial poor quality, it in fact was poor quality. The warping on White Cock Whore was pushed too far in, the crown tat did not properly follow the curve of her shoulder, and all three tats were not blended in any meaningful way. Each one looks like you just dropped it in, did the minimal amount of warping required and hit export. If you want some examples on proper 3D blending check out any of the 3d edits Hello Zepp has done post #85600 or Sylaellas' portfolio. The video tutorial found in the MEGA pack is also a valuable resource even if you don't use PS because it will give you a good visual step by step.

Contrary to what some like to believe the mod & admin team actually do disagree on a good number of things.

So for one. Any post that gets disapproved for any reason should have that reason visible to the person who uploaded it. Telling someone that their post is poor quality with nothing more is not only not helpful but seems to be a large factor in people deciding to not upload.

As for 'warping' on the tattoos and 'blending'... you do realise that it isn't an edit. It's and original 3d work with the tattoos applied to the skin texture?
So you know...it perfectly follows the geometry of the 3d model. It isn't possible for it to be 'pushed too far in' or for any of the tattoos to be 'not blended in any meaningful way' as any light effects on the skin texture with affect the tattoos as well as they are part of the skin texture.

As much as i appreciate you replying here telling me to check how people edit images doesn't help. I don't do edits I create original content.
Feel free to check out my portfolio on Pixiv if you want to understand that i did not do 'the minimal amount of warping required and hit export' - https://www.pixiv.net/en/users/89343605
Now if you want to say the tattoos were a bit too bright and needed a lower opacity then that I can understand but why wasn't that just fucking said so?

Like I said if you have an issue with how the rejection process works you can DM an Admin and make your case to them.

I do not pretend to understand the complexities of 3d modeling but when I look at 3d work I see works such as these post #85654 which clearly have taken the time to give the illusion of the tattoo being a part of her skin. I can understand that this is a work with a lot of genuine effort put into the final product, despite having a very limited knowledge on what steps you must take to build it. Where as with the post you've linked, I do not see that. I see a tattoo that looks like it's not correctly applied to the skin texture while also being too bright and not faded in correctly. Should these criticisms been applied to your rejection? Absolutely and unfortunately the person who initially rejected you didn't think to do so.

At the end of the day if you want to avoid this back and forth, I highly suggest you check out more tutorials in your domain of creation to better help amplify the overall quality of your works. At the very least try reducing the opacity of the tats before applying them to the skin and choosing a softer red so it can blend in with the skin of the girl you're working with

This 'back and forth' could have been avoided if a mod had done things right in the first place and it shouldn't have taken 25 days to get a response to it.
I appreciate the feedback from you however. Nearly a month too late and only when several others have had to say something as well but I guess I'll take what little I can get.

Don't wanna make a new thread so I'll post here:
This upload was deleted for "Non-English with no translation". The character speaks French (in the english version of the game) and this is the original version of the image posted by the artist, entirely unedited. Why is this an issue ?

As I personally wouldn't expect a response from the moderation team within a month I'll do what I can to help out.
Whilst Mitsuru does speak french and the text may be unaltered I'm guessing all text in an image either needs to be in English or in the source section when you upload but the French text in the bit called original description and the english translation in the box called translated description.
Not sure how you would add it in after the fact but I'd ask the mod team and maybe one of them will help.

That's what I thought at first as well, but after checking there's no rules related to languages anywhere and there's a few other pics with non-translated non-english text that have been up for quite a while.

Yeah the moderation on this site is inconsistent at best. With any luck a mod will lend you a hand but I wouldn't expect one to help soon.
I would like to be proven wrong though.
Maybe try direct messaging a mod I guess.

For whatever reason it's not listed but foreign language captions are allowed so long as you provide an English translation in the commentary section or within the image itself
