Actually, Yor’s family hails from East Nielberg, (ostensibly an Eastern country in this world’s fictional equivalent of Europe, but could be Japan) so technically, this story could be considered a WMAF story, in which the AF is an assassin who kills traitors to Ostania (This story’s equivalent of Eastern Germany)
As an Egyptian, I am glad that Menat represents us. Women with brown/dark skin deserve more recognition, but not to be turned into prostitutes colonized by white men.
